Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) is a key aspect of Paparangi’s holistic approach to education. Each year, our student have numerous opportunites to participate in EOTC learning. These include sports events such as cross country, athletics, football, cricket and swimming lessons. Every term our students participate in Northern Zone sports events, which may lead them to Interzones and potentially Regionals. Regular use of the adventure zone during learning time and play time. EOTC week, at the end of term 4, with activities such as gully walks, wheels day and water play. Rākau Nui students participate in kapa haka every week and once a year they perform at the Ngā Hau e Whā Kapa Haka Festival alongside other schools from the Newlands area.
